On April 14, 2015, Amnesty International released a report detailing the brutality of the Nigeria-based, radical Islamist group Boko Haram. The report estimated that more than 2,000 women and girls have been captured by the group since the beginning of 2014. Witnesses have reported that while some women are married off and forced into sexual servitude after they are abducted, others are trained as militants to carry out attacks on villages.

  • Pray for the families of the abducted women to have peace during this ordeal

Among the women being helped at the refugee camp in Yola, Nigeria in the northeast of the country, none of the girls from Chibok were identified.
