|Yesterday (21 December), Christian prisoner Farshid Fathi was released from prison in Karaj. He had served five years in prison after being convicted of unlawfully distributing Bibles.
David Yeghnazar of Elam Ministries said, “We are overjoyed and celebrating! We would like to request that you continue praying for Farshid today and in the coming weeks. Please pray especially for protection, his family and his adjustment to life outside prison.”
Following his release, Farshid was reunited with his parents, Ramin Rad, co-founder of Voice of Christians of Iran, told ICC. The future for Christians in Iran is likely to remain full of abuse, so long as the Iranian regime remains intent on preventing individuals from sincerely worshiping God in the way that they see fit.
His wife and children, I believe , are in Canada-may they be reunited soon!
